Buongiornoa tutti, ho un dubbio e chiedo a voi...
Se installo il s3xy knob e precisamente questo:

mi inficia la garanzia della macchina?
Chiedo questo perchè bisognerebbe installare un commander sostituendo e ampliando i cavi di connessione alla macchina, e credo che se " metti mano" all'elettronica della macchina e successivamente hai dei guasti o problemi potrebbero non riconoscerti la garanzia. Ma non ne sono sicuro e quindi chiedevo a chi ne sà più di me.
Grazie a quanti mi aiuterannoa risolvere questo "emblematico dubbio"

aimè vai ad inficiare la garanzia.....per cui valuta bene!! tra l'altro viene tutto monitorato.....nel senso che in caso di riparazione in garanzia se tu ripristini il tutto all'originale prima dell'intervento viene rilevato il fatto che ci sia stata passami il termine ''manomissione'' .......nel senso buono del termine.....poi la decisione è tua....claro 😎
Beh, se si mette mano all'elettronica e ai cavi originali, molto probabilmente rischi di perdere la garanzia. Per il resto, che utilità c'è nell'aggiungere altri comandi quando hai tutto a disposizione sul paddone? Per me è un elemento di distrazione, ma questo è un parere strettamente personale, poi ognuno è libero di fare ciò che vuole a suo piacimento. Il bello della Tesla (sempre parere personale, eh...) è proprio la "spartanità" degli interni, una delle ragioni per cui ho scelto questa macchina.Buongiornoa tutti, ho un dubbio e chiedo a voi...

Infatti il mio dubbio era principalmente quello della garanzia, e poi 310 euro per automatizzare i comandi mi sembrano un po tanto....infatti non li spendo quegli euro, piuttosto mi vado ad ubriacare al bar 
Ti sei dato tu la risposta. Se non succede niente e funziona tutto a posto... se succede qualcosa e viene imputata la manomissione a quello, la garanzia non ti copre. Il classico onore e oneri ecco...

What about Tesla Warranty?
According to the official Tesla Vehicle Limited Warranty document, the warranty of the vehicle as a whole is not voided when installing 3rd party accessories.
Only if there is an issue with a specific part of the vehicle (broken part or something not working as expected), proved to be caused directly or indirectly by the 3rd party accessory, this part has a limited warranty and Tesla might charge for replacing it or diagnosing the car.
For now, Tesla is OK with 3rd party accessories and doesn't state anywhere that the warranty of the vehicle is voided entirely because the 3rd party accessory is installed.
We have clients that went to Tesla Service with the buttons and they just removed the OBD Commander and place it on the passenger seat without any issues or warranty limitations as a result.
We always recommend removing the Commander from the car when going to Tesla service in order to avoid issues with the staff and/or wrong interpretations of the global Tesla policy by them.

Io ho preso i sexy buttons ed installato il commander sulla presa ODB2 posteriore. Mi trovo molto bene e non ho mai avuto problemi di sorta. L'installazione è semplice. Ho ordinato il Knob come early bird. Sono in attesa. Le funzionalità del commander sono impressionanti, e dopo l'ultimo update ti permette anche di disattivare il motore anteriore ed il controllo di trazione, un pò in stile track mode (anche se la mia opzione preferita è il kickdown, passi da soft a normal semplicemente premendo l'accellaratore...)
Per me avere qualche shortcuts rispetto alla navigazione sul paddone è molto utile....Poi ognuno personalizza l'auto come crede....
Si, tra i sedili e la copertura in plastica. Semplice da installare e fa il suo effetto per chi è seduto dietro (mia figlia). Intervenire sulla portiera sarebbe stato troppo complicato (almeno per me). Ti giro anche il sedile anteriore. Chiaramente la tonalità di colore è modificabile (ora ho il rosso....)
ciao, io ho preso il s3xy knob e devo installarlo. qualcuno mi sa dire quali sono i limiti di metterlo sul connettore posteriore anzichè quello lato passeggero? Non riesco a capirlo

Ho anche io il s3xy knob. Ho eseguito l'installazione posteriore, molto più semplice. Non credo che vi sia differenza tra le due opzioni citate. Hanno dato questa possibilità per chi ha già installato un modulo OBD2 nella parte posteriore (es. scanMyTesla o altro...). Da quello che ho compreso, due moduli andrebbero in potenziale conflitto, in questo caso è quindi consgliabile l'installazione sul lato passegero.
Dalla mia esperienza, l'installazione posteriore funziona senza alcun problema
@tak99 Grazie, alla fine l'ho installato lato passeggero, mi sono documentato meglio e si parla di standard vs advanced anche perchè se non ho capito male posteriormente si usa l'altro spinotto dove manca l'alimentazione. Ho chiesto al supporto e hanno detto che faranno un video a breve su questo. Ad ogni modo ci ho messo veramente 10 minuti e funziona alla grande.
@donachy Ottimo e complimenti.Per le mie scarsissime capacità l'installazione laterale sembrava troppo complicata.
Comunque il gadget a me piace molto, oltre alla funzione kickdown trovo utile poter regolare la frenata rigenerativa ed inserire le 4 ruote motrici permanenti su M3. Due giorni fa (probabilmente lo sai già) è uscito il nuovo aggiornamento con la possibilità di personalizzare il telefono quando è in modalità dashboard orizzontale.
@tak99 Ciao, si si, già aggiornato e già provata la dashboard, ma al momento non ho nessun supporto.
Molto utile il kickdown in effetti, e finalmente qualche pulsantino comodo. Apertura/chiusura specchietti per me che lo faccio sempre quando entro/esco in garage è utilissimo.
Il montaggio lato passeggero spaventava anche me, motivo della domanda iniziale, ma alla fine sembra peggio di quel che è.
Ho visto che hanno risolto la sincronizzazione temperatura e sedili riscaldati ma solo con collegamento account tesla, cosa che per ora non vorrei fare onestamente.
