Dear friends

Non parla Italiano, scusi!

Next week I would like to travel from Switzerland to Venezia with my family in our Model S. With the Superchargers this should be no problem!

I would like to park the car for 2 nights in Venezia. Are there any recommendations for the parking? I see that several parkings ask you to leave the car open with the key in the car. Obviously I would not like to do that. Any recomendations?

Thank you very much

Zoran Mitrovic

Hi There!

As our friend Scanred stated already, the best (and cheapest) option is Mestre, there's actually a parking place just in front of the station if I remember well...

For any further ... don't hesitate to ask 😉 ...

Will you also queue in Pelikanstrasse next Thursday? ... We may meet us there? 😉

cheers

Hello and thank you for the fast answers!

Which parking in Mestre would you suggest and how to get from there to Venezia?
Thank you!

I am close to Bern, but I will not pre order it yet!

In Mestre there are more park places just in the train station area, here some:

http://www.parcheggiogregory.com/

http://www.sabait.it/en/parking/venice/venezia-mestre-stazione

Well I let you just guess on how could you get from Mestre to Venezia if you park your car in Mestre's train station's premises ::) ::) ::)  btw ... there's a train every 15 min and it takes 15 min to get there ... morevover ... parking in Mestre it's much cheaper then in Venice.

When we go to Venice by car, I prefer to park in Tronchetto parking, not too expensive as usual in Venice and well connected to any part of the city by a public boat (the line 2). Take a two days ticket to move easily with the boats.

Thank you for all the help and the suggestions.

Finally I have decide to use the Tronchetto parking: "If you travel with children, the easiest is the cheapest"

However they say on their site that it is not necessary, but possible and cheaper to reserve in advance, but never found out how to reserve in advance? They did not respond on my Email so far.

On the trip from Bern ( Switzerland ) I plan to use the superchargers: Martigny - Cavaglia - Verona. Any thoughts?

Best
